Your math is highly incorrect, the PS3 will not over take the X-Box by December. The only way that would ever happen is if people all of the suddenly stopped bying x-box. Before you jump to the idea that im a crazed fanboy, it should be known that I only have a PS3.

Lets look at the math. On average, the xbox sold around 397558 consoles per month in the US during 2009, while the ps3 only sold 361217. If these trends continue at this same rate the PS3 will NEVER pass XBOX. Its mathematically impossible. For PS3 we will use 397558X as our equation, and 361217X for the XBOX. These lines never intersect, thus the values never meet.

Now, we have to consider the rest of the world. While the PS3 sells around twice as much as XBOX in Japan, the XBOX sells twice as much in Europe so we can cancel out both of those values. Thus, the PS3 will not ever catch the XBOX.

Although i think its use at the moment is gimmicky, with party games, i think the technology is very impressive. Its the start of what i think will be the future of gaming. I envision having fps games that run through a system similar to this. Where you can move in any direction and the player moves with you. The technology is at that point but you have to start somewhere.

I dont own an xbox, onlya ps3, but im still interested in the technology. I think the way it is now is gimmicky, just like the ps3 motion control. But, the concept is intruiging. Being able to move in any direction with complete control could be fun, if dont correctly. Its the first step towards what i think will eventually be gaming. I expect the technology to get to the point where fps games can be played like this, now that would be fun. But for now, any motion control including the ps3 one is gimmicky and useless. Heck, i dont even know why they bothered to put motion control on the ps3, it just doesnt work well. But thats just me,

Interesting how you are going to get a 360, but you already have one. Did it get RROD? Obvisouly when you decided to make this stupid little thread you forgot that we can see all the other posts and game reviews you made. I find it hard to believe someone without a 360 would review Condemned: Criminal Origins (X360),Gears of War (X360),Hitman: Blood Money (X360), and so on.

I was thinking, there has been alot of delays with ps3 games lately. Maybe they are being delayed to add the rumble feature into the game, becuase the RUMBLE is returning.

According to Konami's official website, MGS4 is still going to be released this year! If this is true, the playstation 3 will have another amazing title this Winter!!
