It sucks because he probably means it but what can he do at this point? He became head at a shitty time for the Xbone and it's not like he could say "all right [MS 1st party studio] let's make a brand new game!"

It takes months, sometimes years, to create and develop a brand new IP. At this point, there isn't too much he can do to remedy the prospects of expanding 1st party support or even 3rd party exclusive games.

So not only did they make their Slim Xbone redundant within an hour of revealing it. Now they're telling you the most powerful console ever made will be useless to you without making an investment of at least $2500. So who cares if it'll let you play at 60fps on your 1080p TV? Should that not even matter to a consumer?

2) Microsoft support has been saying so. But some have also been saying it was part of a promo, so it looks like we still don't know.

@fayeznajeeb: Yes they can. As this was obviously a pricing error, they likely have a clause in their ToS that gives them the right to revoke the license of any game that receives a wrong price.

@Archangel3371: Xbox Support have said they are revoking licenses to these digital copies. So we just have to remain offline until we're completely done with or tired of the game.
