I find this topic very interesting. I wonder if developers would ever be bold as to set a high-profile game during the Civil War. The Revolutionary War offers the Brittish as an opponent, but the Civil War would leave no option but to kill American troops.

I am lucky enough to live near a cellphone repair place that also offers game system repair. My 1st gen PS3 (with backwards PS2 compatability) had the power source go out. It cost $60 to repair, but I have a large library of PS2 games that my son still plays, so I went ahead and had it fixed. The guy was also able to repair a Wii for $25 when one of my kids shoved a PSP game into the slot.
I have a 1st gen PSP that is falling apart and a DS that has problems with the bottom screen. What do you guys think the cutoff repair price is, where it just makes more sense to buy a new (updated) system?
I have never been a fan of gamestop. I only shop there is literally no one else in town has the game I want. The lack of quality control and emphasis on pre-orders and memberships have ruined what started out as a great concept.
