I dont think this is realy a game its more of a cinematic walking cut scense with frown in gun play where its abit hard to even find cother. 4 out of 10 for game play for me but graphics 10/10 but i orded a game not movie like cut scenes.

What does any of that have to do with my topic?  I wasn't rating the game... simply asking a question as to why the actual game was nothing like any of the trailers.  Both in the moments shown in the game and the entire vibe that they gave off of it being scary and unpredictable.

If you consider enemy talk and the abscence of scenes as spoilers then skip the first few paragraphs.

I loved this game but I'm confused why pretty much every moment they showed in the trailers was never in the actual game.  Like the bell tower collapsing and the bell falling in front of you after you pass a guy on a carraige with a missing wheel.  The scene with Elizabeth feeling bad for a dying horse and opens a tear to another dimension to try and revive it,  the scene where booker walks into a quiet bar and they all turn on him and start shooting.  Then he encounters a Handyman on a bridge which ends up falling off because of the Song Bird crashing down.

The vibe they gave off in the trailers was that they managed to make it a scary game like the first two Bioshocks even with full daylight.  Like people were crazy and riding a carraige with no wheel like nothing was wrong,  or a lady sweeping in a building that was on fire.  They made it seem like people could be quiet and happy and then just start attacking you for no reason.   But it's NOTHING like that at all... not scary whatsoever and those "crazy people" were people caught between dimensions thinking they were still alive.  Just regular civilians who run away at the sight of any sort of violence.   The gunfights take place with mostly policemen and other soldiers.  With the occasional Handyman and Fireman.

The Boy Of Silence was the coolest and most interesting enemy of the game that could have created a good scare, but there is only one of them and it doesn't appear until the end of the game.  Not to mention you don't really ever fight it... it just causes these masked ghosts to start attacking you.  When they previewed this game in the interviews,  Ken Levine made it sound like these were the main enemies of the game.  Breaking down each one and what they do, but really they were barely in the game at all.

There's a lot more stuff that was different than I expected but that's most of it.  I'm wondering why that happens considering most people are expecting these great moments after watching the trailer.

They opened a Play N Trade around the corner from me here on Long Island, NY and I must say that your experience with them is limited to your local store. Each store is privately owned and so the customer service, policies, and trade in values pretty much vary from store to store. One thing you seem to be making misleading is that they have a "hidden" disc repair machine under the desk. First off they advertise on their main website that they do disc repair and offer it as a service to get scratched games working again. They don't secretly repair games without you knowing.

When I have purchased new games they have been sealed in the plastic unlike Gamestop who gives you USED games and claims that they are the "last copy from the shelf" and puts a **** sticker over the opening of the box to keep it closed on top of all the price stickers they **** put all over the box itself which causes you to have to scratch off all the glue leftover on your case. SO ANNOYING.

So far the Trade-In values there are better then Gamestop by a couple of dollars. But even a dollar more is a better deal but I still say to sell your games on ebay or craigslist because I always get atleast 80% of the original price I paid back. Play N Trade also allows you to try any game you want before you buy it and they also carry retro consoles and games including collectors items and rare games. You can buy an original Coleco Vision or an Atari if you want and they also take any system in for trade. You could trade your old N64 or SNES or NES if you wanted or you can buy one for mad cheap and get some great old games for good prices.

All in all Play N Trade is way better then Gamestop.

i wonder why...cuz he hacked the game. you guys are all gullable as heck...

beating the game in 5 hours is impossible enough, plus all the other things u need to do. its physically impossible. ever heard of things like gameshark and modding ur ps3? none of u even though of that... just because theres no physical cheat for boss face camo or anything doesnt mean third partys cant hack the game.

Try No Alert Hack or Invisible hack...inifite health..etc. use your heads guys...why else would he not upload the final video that shows his run time and then the videos get taken down by YOUTUBE and not HIM. DUHHHHH
