Only $1.49???

I have been pretty bored with my 360, and wii latley. So dreamcast is once again back in my life. That means hours upon hours of shenmue. The other day though I stopped at my local gamestop to pick up Shenmue 2 for 6 bucks, but while I was looking around I saw something. Max Payne 2(xbox) $1.49. So I kind of grabbed it for the hell of it. I'd some memory of it from years ago but didn't get a huge oppritunity to play it. I didn't even intend to play it that much. But I put it in when I got back and WOW! I was so amazed and couldn't stop playing. Max Payne 2 is such an amazing game to play, good graphics, great story, great music, and my favorite, awesome gunplay(although I did like Mona) . I was shellshocked!!! Forget halo 3 or Gutair hero .After about four days I finished the game and I wasn't disapointed a bit. But who couldve thought an xbox game from 2003 would still be so much fun know. So many memories, at the cost of $1.49. Now that's what gaming is about!!!

Max Payne 2 is a great game that I think alot of people missed for whatever reason. I highly suggest you go get your hands on a copy. I have the xbox version which IS backwards compatible with 360, though I'm sure the PS2 and PC versions are great to. A message I'm trying to give is, we live in a day where MS or Sony beg you to buy Halo, Mass effect or Metal gear. Not to rip on those good games, but that not where it's at. GO to a gamestop or store that sells old games and look around and you'll find a good game. I made a great memory with Max Payne 2, it cost me a buck and a half. It will cost you a drive to a store.

PS: I am saddend to hear about Jeff Gertsman, I have been seeing his stuff for years and will miss him. He has my best

I'm really getting tired of bad licenced games. I don't see why developer's have such a tough time with them. It's not like EA has to create a great Superman or Batman game. Developers just can't get it right these days. Lately iv'e just been seeing developers struggle. When there is a good movie, or character I can't stand seeing them put in an awful game. Some are treated well Star Wars you got Kotor and The Force Unleashed looks great. Scarface got a good treatment, and Activision normally does good with there Marvel Comics titles. But there are some that just suck. Look at Robocop for example, one of the coolest sci-fi movies ever, but the titus 2003 Robocop title for Xbox might as well be called "RoboSuck". (titus also developed Superman 64 crap!!!). But one thing many developers have learned over the years is that they can make a licenced game, put it in stores and if it's good great, if it's bad it will still sell good. When there is a good licenced game fine but these day's we "gamers" are getting screwed. I personally was a fan of EA's Superman Returns title on 360 despite negative reviews . The worst thing is if their is a bad listened game, we might be stuck with it. If the only way we can be Luke Skywalker is in Lego form, we'll just have to learn to live with it.
