So, I've been debating about getting a new $199 xbox just for the HDMI port. My old (refurbished due to Red ring of Death) xbox 360 works great but no HDMI. And that retarted MadCatz cable is $90 and got horrible reviews.

I've been waiting to buy a big flat screen tv with all the HDMI ports but realized that only my DVD player has a HDMI output on it. So what to do? Is it really worth it? Is it that much better?
