Alot of the PSP ones aren't very good, i wouldn't buy them. But some of them are really good.

PSP has less casual games and DS has more, so it's really your own preference.

Shooters, racers and sports games are the most casual games of the lot besides movie franchises. And what about all the endless Tom Clancy and WWII shooters, they dominate the shelves. Probably because they, along with all this Def Jam crap have as much casual appeal as Mario has ever had.

So dont blame the Wii for how the market works. The market doesnt always agree with me either, but you lot are just twisting this to make it look like the market is constantly working against the 'hardcore', when in fact every time it expands its working in favour. The smaller the industry is, the more it needs to rely on casuals. You will actually find that movie franchises like Hook for the SNES were some of the best games around the earlyier days of the industry. This was because they knew they needed to reel in the casuals - who then became 'hardcore' themselves. We are now getting a greater number of hardcore games than ever before, and that is due to Nintendo and Sony.

Quofan

I totally agree. Cauals will eventually dive deeper into the world of games and become more hardcore, this means that programers will make hardcore games took keep the market satisfied. IMO it's not the wiis fault. It's the way the market works. Advertisment of all consoles brings in new gamers and they will probably start of casual.

Wow some people here need to get a life. it's just gaming, don't make a huge problem about it

as for the subject, i don't think the wii is the end of "hardcore gaming" as it is called, just less games that will be hardcore. If you look there are plenty of "hardcore" games recently released and some upcoming. I'm perfectly fine in the way things are with gaming, i have some fun games for me wii, and i have more action packed ones for my PS2 and PSP and hopefully i can get a 360 soon which i'll get some great games on too.

Do a bit of reaserch and buy the one you think appeals to you more :)

I have a wii and love it but i want a 360, because i love the fun lighthearted mario/zelda type nintendo games on the wii, yet i love fast paced action games such as the halo series at the same time.

People probably think that because they can't be bothered to stand up and play, they just want to slump into their chair, when infact it is entirely possible to play the wii sitting down. I always play Zelda sitting down and i have no problem
