Ok looks like all new consoles (made from May 2007 on) are using the Falcon 60nm chipset). Starting next fall Jasper chipsets will be used. (45nm)
I think I'm going to get the Arcade bundle from Future Shop. Trade in the 2 games to EB and get myself some other games/preorders paid off. I may even trade some of my games with my 20GB HD to get a 120, although I'll never use it. It would be nice to know I have it.
My mistake, the new consles (made from May on or so) have the 60nm chipset. 45nm is coming next fall, can't wait that long.
Yea same here, I just don't wanna wait the 4-8 weeks. And yes when you call, they will ship a package to you to ship back for free.
An Elite would be nice, but I don't want to spend all the money. I'm mainly just worried about getting another Pro/Aracde and it dieing again. I really don't care how it looks or need a huge HD. My 20GB still has room and I have like 4 demos and DLC galore on it.
Anyone have any chipset info at all? Or maybe a link or 3?
Ok, my Pro just died, bought it last Sept was made in March 2006.
So I'm sending in to M$ to get fixed. But I'm just going to sell it when I get it back since I'm going tomorrow to buy a new 360.
But I really wanna get one with the new 'Falcon' chipset.
Now I know the new Pros have the HDMI, does that mean they use the new chipset as well?
What about the Halo 3 and Arcade ones?
Do all 360s now have the HDMI and use the new chipset?
Any info would be great.
