I can't wait to make my party out of Luke Skywalker, Deadpool, and summon Buzz Lightyear and Totoro for some damage and buffs.

I'm probably one of the biggest Final Fantasy fans out there, and I don't see what there is to complain about the combat system. It's looks really innovative, and I can't think of games that have placed platforming inside of combat for an RPG. Sure, it's different, but from what I'm seeing, the combat looks really fluid, and fast paced while keeping a strategic edge. The swordplay and scope of the field of battle also seems really incredible, and I can see many set ups for epic battles. This fight with Leviathan already makes me respect summons so much as they are revealing the true power they hold, much like they did in Final Fantasy IX when they had cinematics of Odin destroying Clerya or Atmos attacking Lindblum.
