XCOM: Enemy Unknown

Battlefield 1943

Sid Meier's Civilization V

Grand Ages: Rome
Almost a good game, but the poor camera system prevents it from being so.
The interface and camera system is absolutely awful. If it had a camera system like the Total War games then the game would be much better. There's also a lack of free will in the campaign, as it's just a set of differ... Read Full Review

Anno 2070
Futuristic version of Settlers 7 is all it is, but not as fun.
Meh, I'm not really impressed. I've been playing strategy games for 30 years and Anno 2070 is really nothing ground breaking. It's very much like Settlers 7, Sim ThemePark, and Caesar III, but takes place in the future... Read Full Review

Red Orchestra 2: Heroes of Stalingrad
I wanted to like this game, but I can't.
This review is solely for the multiplayer. I have no idea about single player because I generally don't play single player. I prefer playing against human intelligence. With some tweaks, it might become a better gam... Read Full Review

Battlefield 1943
Dumbed down version of BF1942.
The Pacific theater is by far the most boring front in WW2 history, thus making this particular game title boring to WW2 fans. BF1943 is a lazy attempt to recreate some of the former glory of BF1942, which had the Paci... Read Full Review

SimCity
maps are extremely small making it not fun.
I would give this game a 9.0 if the maps were bigger. The maps are unfortunately extremely tiny. It makes no sense. The lead game designer got distracted, daze, and confused by the popularity of The Sims game and want... Read Full Review

Unity of Command
It feels like MineSweeper. Don't believe the hype. It's just an Indie "puzzle" game.
All right, this is not really a WW2 game. It is more of just an Indie puzzle game with a WW2 theme. Very cheap and generic with little flexibility as far as creative strategy and tactics go. There are "levels" to comp... Read Full Review

XCOM: Enemy Unknown
This is NOT XCom. Nothing like XCom.
You can't select specifically where on the globe you want to place your base, but only limited to a few choices. You can't kneel for extra accuracy. You can't order tons of soldiers and pick the cream of the crop. They g... Read Full Review
