Star Ocean: TET *DONE*

Well thats another game off my list! :D I actually finished this game almost a week ago, but I haven't got around to posting a blog about it.

Star Ocean: TET is a game that I bought a long time ago that I never really took the time to play, and I have to say, now that I have completed it, that I was a complete idiot for not giving it a chance. It was a pretty great game all around, but the battle system is what made this game for me. It has a real-time interactive combat system, similar to that of the Tales series (which is awesome). The way you set-up/use your battle-skills, how your skills level up, and how you perform "cancel-bonuses" in combat makes this game completely amazing!

I will admit that the story in this game and the characters could have been better, but hey whacha gonna do? :| Anyways this is a game that any RPG lover should definitely check out.

Now Playing: Xenogears

I've heard A LOT of good things about this game so I thought I would give it a try. I bought it awhile back when Rhino Video Games (no one most likely has any idea about this place) was around in my town and have yet to play through it. Right now I am in the very first village of the game about to head up the mountain to meet Citan. ;) I am really looking forward to actually playing this game through till the end.

When I went out to eat with my cousin for his B-Day yesterday we stopped by McKay's Used Bookstore to check out their new arrivals. We were really surprised to see that they actually had some good PS1 games! Such as: Lunar: Silver Star Story, Vagrant Story, FF VII, FF VIII, Arc the Lad Collection, Chrono Cross, and.....Grandia! :D

It has been a crazy long time since I had seen this game. I never got around to playing this game back in the day, and when I saw a complete copy for a mere $17.95 I absolutely had to pick it up! I will certainly be playing this game in the future.

Whats up guys!!!! Today I drove around town checking out some game stores that were going out of business in my area looking for some good games at cheap prices. The first store that I went to, GameCrazy, I found a copy of Rogue Galaxy on sale for $7!

From my understanding this is the last (or one of the last) game that Level5 did for the PS2 and many people missed out on it because of the upcoming next-gen consoles. I checked out some gameplay videos on Youtube and thought that it looked like a very interesting game with LOTS of item creation/fusion.

Anyways, I just thought I would share this with you guys! ;) This ended up being the only decent game that I found on my little adventure. I was hoping to find Okami, but hey this works!

BTW I am still in the process of finishing Star Ocean 3 and I'm really enjoying it! I still need to go defeat the last boss ,go through two bonus dungeons, and....well yeah thats pretty much it! Cya guys next blog!

I must say I had a wonderful time playing Final Fantasy IV and it was a truly amazing experience. They did a superb job of remaking and porting this masterpiece to the DS. Its story is still definitely one of the best in the FF series and probably my second favorite (FF VII being #1).

Also, if you are the kind of gamer that likes a challenge (like me :P), then FF IV won't disappoint. I was glad to see that the game now features the original Japanese difficulty, instead of the dumbed down US SNES version (FF II). At the end of the game, my total play time was around 35 hours.

Final Fantasy IV DS is a game that any DS owner shouldn't miss. ;)

Hey guys!!!

Well, I'm kind of bored so I thought, "Hey, why not make a blog about New Years Resolutions?". So yeah, here it is! whoooo!!!! Anyways I have finally decided what my New Year's resolution is!!!! and that would be to learn how to play the guitar by the end of this year.

My grandmother bought me like a $300 Yamaha guitar one Christmas (about 2-3 years ago) and I have yet to even play it once. I really want to learn how to play it this year, but its going to take me awhile because my hand-eye cordination really sucks.... I hope I can stick with this because I always thought it would be cool to be able to play the guitar!!

So, anyone else want to share what their New Year's resolution is? :D

So yeah, this year I recieved one of my Christmas presents early, and now I finally have me a vehicle to drive! As you can see (^^^) I now drive a '98 Stone Blue Jeep Cherokee! I was insanely excited to get my first vehicle, its an epic feeling :P haha.

Anyways, I still have to go pick up my license. =_= Yes, I'm 17 ( almost 18 ) and I don't have my license... I am on my second permit though! :D I just never really cared to get my license due to the fact that I wouldn't have a vehicle to drive 90% of the time, but now I guess I have no worries (aside from dumb gas prices....).

Other than this, the only thing that I KNOW OF that I'm getting for Christmas is LoZ:Spirit Tracks for the DS. It is actually sitting on top of my TV in my room, not wrapped I might add, but I cant open/play it until Dec. 25. v_v

Forgot to mention that my little brother, Jonathan, who is 5 years old, got one of his Christmas presents early also. Me and my cousin had to put it together haha..

So I definetly caught pneumonia when I went out to black friday this past week....

Started out on friday with a runny nose, saturday turned into runny nose and coughing, then sunday I woke up and had really bad shortness of breath and chest pains on top of all the other stuff. I ended up going to the hospital at 10 p.m. and they put me on some oxygen and gave me like 3 breathing treatments. I ended up being in there till 1 a.m., but atleast I can breathe pretty decent now.

They have me taking a breathing treatment every 4 hours, a big arse pill to fight infection, and some cough syrup/anti-congestion stuff. Atleast I don't have to go to school! :P

So this morning I woke up at 3:45 and got dressed and whatnot. About 4:00-4:15 I made it to Denny's to eat breakfast and then around 4:45 made it to the line outside of Target. Such loonnnggg linesssssss!!!!! ugghhhhh. haha. Definitely a interesting experience and a fun memory.

Pretty much the only thing that I picked up for myself was the metallic blue mario dsi bundle. I was psyched.....until I got home and opened it... I really don't like how it is built, the L & R buttons are insanely small and they aren't that responsive. It just doesn't feel as comfortable as my DS Phat and isn't anywhere near worth the $170 that I paid for it, which is why I'll be returning it tomorrow for a refund and I'll just stick with my Phat. Really flimsy and rushed system build IMO.

We also picked up a set of DVD players that you attach to the back of the seat in your vehicle to entertain my little bro, a queen size air matress, some 4gb sd cards, and a couple of movies.

Though I'm kind of disappointed that I didn't like my DSi, I had a great time and made an awesome memory.

Well, Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

Today is going to be a great day for me, due to the fact that I get to stuff my face!!!!!! haha jk (kinda >.>), I'm just really happy that I get to spend some time with my whole family today. I've also really started counting my blessing, and holy crap even though my life has its downs I have it pretty darn good. :)

Well I havn't used my blog in a very long time so I felt like it was time to make a new blog post!!!!! Its actually a pretty boring topic but yeahhhhhh.....

Today I got my senior shirt!!! wohooooo???? lulzzzz

So yeah, theres my new blog!!!! The quote on the back of the shirt is kinda dumb and my signature sucks (Dustin Roberts), but its still interesting I guess. I mean you only get one senior year. :P
