I cant find a " contact" us page to contact the higher ups handling gamespot.com. i have a MAJOR problem with how a dispute was handled by one of the forum admins and would like to speak with some one

Hey gamespot forum trolls, craker here asking you Crysis snipers....when DO you get to snipe?

MOST, not all, MOST FPS games i have recently played, i can snipe with....well...just about anything....let me explain myself.

my idea of sniping, is being able to shoot a dudes ear off from a very very very far distance. but, like all snipe players, taking off the entire head is good enough =)

now back to the most anoying thing about crysis.

theres a distance cap? like, lets take the first level for example, you come up toa setof NPC's( the ones on the beach as you drop down the hill)there is a total of 4, one on the far right(pating on the beach) 1 pating around the buildings, 1 pating to the buildings and the docks, and one on the far left.

as you can clearly tell, i played thispart of the first level alot. not becouse i couldnt get past it, but for SCIENCE!

i stood at the top, trying to snipe them. im no pro at FPS. but iv been known to land some incredible head shots. but nothing happend....nothing. so after trial and error, i figured out the distance, of how close you need to be, to snipe any NPC in that game. and its close enough to not calling it a snipe shot, id call it, just, well, an avrege well placed shot.

i did happen to come across the rifle with a scope. keyword....RIFLE THAT CAME WITH A SCOPE. meaning that you can get a bare rifle in the game and be left with no scope. wich lead me to think: is this the FIRST game to use real logic in a shooter? lets face it, if you ever fired a weapon, you cant snipe with an AK-47 or an AR-15....trust me i tried. (maybe i just suck?) who knows, but what do you guys think?

Do you know for a fact that there is a distance cap depending on the weapon? was the game designed that way? to match real life weapons?

does the game just suck that bad you cant snipe with an AR-15 or AK-47? like you could in all the other FPS games?

i would like some feedback on this. its been bothering me.

If not fella's, then time will tell, if you cant snipe, in Crysis 2. and can only snipe with just, well, a rifle and a scope. we know they designed it that way.

But if you CAN then i just stumbled upon a major " woops " (tho im sure im not the first to notice this)

purchased the game

installed it

(no desktop icon was created but w/e) when into the directory and launched -bioshock2launcher.exe-

game came up, got to the menu, GFWL came up wanted me to sign in. didnt have an acccount, made one, signed in.

wants me to update, ok, close the game out, updated. bring the game back up, smae thing, wants another update, ok, updated.

NOW IT WONT EVEN START. nothin. my mouse does the " im thinking" donut. hten nothing........no error, no " closing the program". nothing

i searched ALL OVER the internet for this. tryed every solution under the sun, nothing. spent 5 hours and 34min on this so far

headrush vibrating headset..

their a hard one to find but their amazingly fun to use..

my head vibrates with the base and hard tones. once you try it audio jsut wont sound the same without it..

when i lsiten to anything at school with audio (educational or otherwise) i wont hold as much interest without that headset..
