Which of the four games do you think is the best? And why?

I play Gears Of War 2 right now because basically I'm tired of easy kills. Yes, I am saying I am good at the other games and I'm running low on excitement... So, which of the quad-rilogy, do you think is the best?
I think I've learned to deal with the shotgun's inconsistency. I use to find myself tryin to pop shot enemies rolling at me. Now i two-piece a lot more. I mean for god sakes the gnasher has 2, count em 2, barrels and should fire a bit faster. I think its ridiculous how that when your the one punching someone, they recover faster. Giving them that split second to blow you away when your half way through your two piece.
Thats deviating from my initial question. I need to know if I can message EPIC and expect results or if I do am I wasting my time? I like rank because I have friends that joke with me about my 22, and having 35 rank status. Its really getting old. Please help.....
