Well this is my second blog and I have no idea if anyone even reads them but I enjoy writing them as it allows me to release some inner energy. I wrote back in January how I've had little time to play games and that I enjoy having a solid 2 or 3 hours to play certain games and that if I don't i want even start. Well now that I've recently got engaged, the amount of time is even less. Through in going to Blue Jay games and Toronto FC soccer games I attend, I'm rarely home and then weekends it's out with her family or mine, so me and my xbox have grown apart and that's something I feared. My sister got me Halo Wars and I picked it up on launch day, but I have yet to unwrap it. I got Gears of War 2 on launch day and have yet to open it. I also have Rainbow Six 2 and just played it for the first time last week with a buddy of mine and it was nice. He's married with a kid so we planned an xbox night for just us and we played for hours and hours and it felt good, just like when we were kids. So now I've decided to book and get as much stuff for the wedding done as possible so at least i could afford some time to play cause when the summer hits, I'd like to spend time outside and enjoy some nice weather cause we don't get much of it. There are no new games I plan on purchasing cause I do want to finish some other titles and want to begin GOW 2 and RB 6 #2 and of course Halo Wars as I'm a huge Halo fan. Well that's it for now, if you read it, great and if nobody reads it, it's ok too, I enjoyed writing it. Till next time...

Never enough time...

Well this is my first blog every for Gamespot and thought well since I thoroughly enjoy this site and all the wealth of information it has I'll do a blog about video games and the lack of time i have to enjoy them.
I'm 32 years old and work a full time job in the online gaming area, but it's a gaming site for kids, not adults. So all day I'm on the computer dealing with issues that are brought to my attention by kids. I do bring my DS to work so at lunch i can take a break and play some DS...but there are times at lunch that I'm so tired at looking at a screen I don't want to even touch my DS, I'd rather just eat lunch and relax for an hour or so...then I go home and after eating dinner, changing into comfy clothes and doing little odds and ends, by the time I get to touch my 360 it's already getting late and for me at least, when I play in depth games like GTA IV or Mass Effect, I can't spend only 20 or 30 minutes playing, I like to give myself a solid hour or more to play...so then I just end up playing a sport game, either NCAA basketball or Madden or maybe even Fifa...
Now I also have a serious girlfriend who likes to take up my time by either going out or if we don't go out, even chatting for a bit on the phone which is fine...so i made a rule that if we don't have any family obligations on Sunday's that Sunday is my day to watch football, play games and do whatever the heck i want...but Friday's and Saturdays i'm usually with her and I'm happy with that...so now she wants to buy a Wii to help entice me to go over more (I think its cause she's not loving the Wii bowling and the Rockband 2 i got for my Wii)...but I won't lie if she does get it, it may work and get me to go over often, plus her parents cook up a storm over there, so i don't mind...
Well that's it for me and my first blog, don't know if anyone is going to read it or not, but it's ok...over and out.
