A World War II game unlike any you'll ever play. Wolfenstein explores the secret Nazi science experiments and involvement in the occult. The subject itself has always fascinated me. The idea of the Nazis, harnessing a power beyond reason and logic would have been a terrifying experience for all of mankind. Good thing it never happened.
So far Wolfenstein has been a great experience, the visuals are beautiful, and the controls are good too. Out of all the firearms you collect, my favorite would have to be the Particle Cannon, a secret Nazi weapon. Also using the occult powers to slow things down, and shield yourself from bullets are very cool, and a nice game play touch.
The only thing that's bad is the navigation, and this takes place entirely in the town stage where you go to the next levels. Trying to find certain locations can take awhile since there's so much ground to cover, that and constant Nazi patrols. It's also annoying that you have to check in with two separate resistance groups in the town stage. It just makes things take longer.
Despite some minor flaws, Wolfenstein is still a great game. If science fiction and history are some of your favorite subjects, then this is the game for you.
