Far Cry is the one shooter series I want to love but can't.

They struck gold with Far Cry 3, and every other entry is either trash or a less interesting version of 3.

Raising the bar is a difficult task when the fans expect nothing less than perfection. Half-Life 3 would have to surpass everything that was exceptional about Half-Life 1 and 2, and tragically, that's a task that involves going back to the drawing board over and over again.
