PS3 *is* getting some pretty good games right now. LBP, MGS4 (I'm kinda over it though...), Resistance 2... and there are a few coming out that I'm interested in: Killzone 2, God of War III (QA tested the first one, so I'm kinda partial)... hmmm, is that it? oh, *if* they ever decide to release Gran Turismo 5, that would be nice. I still primarily enjoy my 360 though...

azren89 Posted Nov 29, 2008 9:46 am PT @azren89: "Team Ninja which is the developer of Ninja Gaiden & DOA agreed that PS3 is the most powerful console out there.I'm not juz talking bullsh** here's the prove http://ps3.qj.net/Team-Ninja-The-PS3-is-the-most-powerful-system-out-there-Xbox-360-still-a-great-console/pg/49/aid/125782" And Gabe Newell (co-founder of Valve) has something to say about that as well. Just tell me who you think is better at creating fun games? *cough*...DOA extreme volleyball... *cough* http://www.gamersquad.com/category/PlayStation-3/Valves-Gabe-Newell-weighs-in-on-PS3/

All this kind of crap does is instigate flame wars. If gamespot chooses one console as a "winner" over the other, it gets the fan-boys panties in a bunch. That being said, it seems that this is more of an objective based article; i.e. what console has better graphics within the realm of these games. It wouldn't make any sense to compare exclusives because even on the same console, games can have better or worse graphics. ...And honestly, do you *really* think that gamespot is reading these comments of people b-tching about PS3 hating, thinking, "oh sh-t, people think we're biased, we better start writing nice articles about PS3 so everyone feels better." and what would that solve anyway? I'm not doubting the PS3's graphical or processing prowess at all, but when you look at the computing landscape at the moment: who the hell knows how to program for a cell processor; and why would anyone invest in it? It's not like you can translate that processing code to a consumer-based PC, or any other sort of practical application. It doesn't make sense. I bet money that the next PS will have a more conventional processing unit to satisfy programmers. Besides, it's not like Microsoft, OR Sony are going to be going out of business any time soon, so just get over this sort of monotonous back and forth banter, its stupid.
