how does one setup a Wii with a surround sound system

i am looking into getting a surround sound system and need to know what to look for

any help appreciated

i am looking to get a surround sound system however i dont know much about what i need to set it up

what exactly does the audio input on the 360 cables do and if i use that how can i have surround sound for my Wii

i am in need of a surround sound setup, heres my situation

i have an xbox 360 with the coaxial input however i also have a wii and i wanted to get surround sound out of that as well

i was checking out the back of my samsung 23" lcd and i didnt see a place where i would could plug in a surround sound unit so both my wii/360 could utilize surround sound

just got the wii finally, but anyway

sorry for being a wiinub but can anyone tell me some good sites for playing games with the internet channel

well if youre wondering why i "care about surround sound and hdtv for my wii" its because i have a 360 and use both those for it and i was wondering how much of my setup could be utilized by the wii

also i dont even know why you went and started an argument its not like i said "holy crap im a big graphix nub and cant play wii unless its just like my ps360!!!!!!!!!!"
