I still hold a chip on my shoulder about Mega Man Legends 3. That excuse they gave was bs, first they original said they were gonna release a prequel demo, and use that as a metric to decide to fully green light the sequel. Then Keiji Inafune left and things just spiraled down on all things Mega Man.

Then a year later a Japanese only 3DS game came out that's core gameplay played exactly like the MML3 demo that was cancelled.

July will mark my 7 year boycott of buying Capcom games.

It is a smart move to get their game talked about again.

I still hold to the fact that the micro-transactions were completely harmless, although I do agree that if you used them you were cheapening your own experience with the nemesis system. It was just a button to speed things up if you wanted it. Played through the whole game and loved every minute of it. Never felt like I was being pressured to engage in the micro-transactions.

That being said the epilogue chapter where you are defending over and over again is extremely tedious. I got board of it, not because I needed to grind for a few more Orcs, but because I got tired of doing the same base defense for the 10th+ time. Buying a pack of Orcs wouldn't have made that any easier.

@darkelf83: It's a smart move. Just continue throwing Sony under the bus. Even if it is disingenuous we benefit in the long run.
