Well, a car is a pretty huge investment for someone without a steady income (as in, an adult with an actual full-time job). I'm not saying what you should get and what you shouldn't get, but a car is... pretty big. The only people my age that I know who have cars are very wealthy.[QUOTE="xxcodmanxx"]
Well yeah I need to get a job by the time I have a car I'm just hoping to have enough for the downpayment by the time I hopefully hit a job, and I was thinking of selling things but I don't know what, I get video games like 5-8 dollars cheaper I was thinking I could sell those but its not much profit -_-. I also do get an allowance but it would take forever to save 2500 up with the amount I get haha.

Also, you need to think about insurance, gas, and potentially getting it repaired. That will add up really, really quickly.
I was looking to lease it by cosigning with my dad because with the 3000 down payment (I have 500) itll be 180 a month which is affordable and I'll have help for insurance so its not too bad
