I was looking for the same thing (but from Platinum) and I found this:

Trading pokemon from Pearl to HeartGold:

Method 1:: If you own two DSes, directly trade from the wireless room on the upper floor of a PokeCenter.

Method 2: Use the GTS to put up the Pokemon you want to trade, and quickly switch over to the other and trade for it. The least reliable of all methods, for your Pokemon could be traded to someone else or it might not even show up in the other game's GTS list.

Method 3: Ask someone else to trade with you, give that person all of the Pokemon, and then get them to trade them to your other DS. This is one of the most popular methods.

[QUOTE="yani37"]

I love mine :P I'm playing Pokemon HeartGold and the big screen make the game even better. No regrets here. DSi XL ROCKS!!!

kingjazziephiz

please tell me how, a bigger screen makes the game better?

Sure. Now I don't need to squint to see a game. I sit my DSi XL in my lap and I can play for hours without any eyestrain. I can read the text better and for many games bigger screens is a plus (ex. WarioWare DIY). I'm so happy with my purchase :)

I'm sure you could get used to it, but a DSi XL is pretty much meant to sit on a table while you play.

Considering Nintendo has been throwing out new DS models every 3-5 months and you're short on money, a used DS Lite or DSi would work.

I don't think the DSi XL has been released yet, so those would be pricey, even used.

Yoweeh

The DSi was released yesterday. I pick up mine yesterday at GameStop. Is the best handheld I ever had. Bigger screens is a plus, clear crispy; feel sturdytoo, not so heavy. Portability??? I remember my original GameBoy I use to take with me everywere, so for me that is not a problem. Many people bash the DSi XL without even try it.

Downloading Zelda? Sounds like ROMs to me, it's forbidden to discuss such things here.

You guys made some really good points here, there seems to be alot of people hating on the XL, I myself had just bought one and cant say anything negative about it. There are a couple of reasons why I bought one, one being I always wanted bigger screens and bame I got them, also because I can buy one. Yes I said I can, it seems most people are mad because they do not have the latest and greatest and could not afford one so they bash others who can. To each there own, the DSI XL ROCKS!! I am playing Pokemon Heart Gold on it right now and man I love the screens, expescially on Spirit Tracks, it gives me a whole new gaming experience. There is no need to hate guys, we are all fans of the DS systems otherwise we would not be posting in this forum.
