So I dont need to play the previous Ratchet and Clanks? Like theres no continuation whatsover? I understand it might be a lot of fun..but theres no storyline that goes along or anything like that?

I also have another question, i was a previous PS2 owner but I never got into the Ratchet and Clank games, although they did look fun, i just never bought one for some reason. Do I need to play the first couple that came out on the ps2 in order to understand whats going on in the next one? Thanks again!
Yeah i've heard some stuff about Uncharted, seems pretty cool. I've also played only a little bit of Oblivion when I had the 360..didn't like it too much, but I only got as far as getting out of the prison thing in the beggining..I think i'll look more into Oblivion and Uncharted. Are there any other games you guys can suggest?
I was hoping someone could tell me a game I should get. Im not looking for an FPS right now, so COD and Unreal are out of the question. I was hoping you guys could tell me a good SP game that you had a lot of fun playing for a while. I was looking for an RPG or action/adventure type kinda game with a good story that might keep me busy for a while. I just got my PS3 so im looking for a good game to enjoy.
Note: I had the 360 before I sold it to get my PS3, so I already beat Assassin's Creed on the 360..so leave that out as well :)
btw, if you didnt figure it out yet, you can still complete this without seeing the icons on the map. The first time around that I played the game I didnt know that I had to go to the view points to find where everyone was so I just went around the city and eventually something would pop up telling me I could eavesdrop or something..so its still beatable wheather or not you can see the icons on the map. Its just a pain in the ass..
Go to the high points in parts of the city that you haven't been to yet. Then on your map things should start popping up, like eavesdropping, pickpocketing and all that good stuff.
