Also found Civilisation III - collector's edition for 30 EUR. Good fun but I'm not very good at strategy games so am getting my little world trampled on by all around.

Went out a while back and bought KOTOR II and FarCry for the PC. Only trouble is that I am finding KOTORII so good that I've hardly played FarCry. ah well, maybe when I feel like getting a suntan while shooting things I'll load it up.

Otherwise, probably going to be buying MGS3 and SC Chaos Theory for PS2 soon.

Have started to play Hitman Contracts again in the hope that a bit of time off Socom will help me finish the mission.

Won the French 1st Division with Bordeaux in my second season, trouble is I don't think I deserved to as in the 3rd season I am only mid table, my players are unhappy with the league position and Valencia hammered me 5-2 in the Champions League.

Popped home for lunch today and played one game of PES4 and one game of Football Manager 2005 - Bordeaux in both.

PES4 - beat Real Madrid 4-1 (conceded goal in first ten minutes) in WEFA championship - wahey !

FM05 - beat PSG 7-1 in French equivalent of Charity Shield - double wahey !

Unfortunately had to come back to work and now just want to go back and carry on !

Title sums up playing habits since I bought PES4 last week.

Am really getting in to 3 star ML with default players, have got Lewis in goal - a great 16 yr old and have gone for a couple of cheap (points wise) Japanese players.

OK,

- am having major problems scoring in PES3 with a fix player 5 star ML season.

- cannot get the one-two to work.

- concede last minute goals (always headers)

Aaaaaaaaaargh.

Nevertheless, have got to the D2 Cup final and am mid-table despite having scored one goal in the league (conceded 4 see above) and one in the cup - victory in the QF by penalties, only one of my players missed their kick - the one I controlled.

Back from a week away from work with a bump, absolutely no systems whatsoever (good job the internet access PC is a stand alone one).

Played PES3 last night on a fixed player season, managed to score 1 goal in 4 games (penalty).

Having seen an entry about fixed players on PES 3, I've just started a 5 star ML game as Juve, can't score any goals and have picked up a couple of red cards but it's a different way of playing.
