Looks like kcwsk8 will be our next leader, since he has been nominated by so many people. Well, congratulations, we have a new leader!

I got to be honest with you guys... without Gamespot's support, unions aren;t going anywhere. Unions are losing their appeal for two reasons:

1 - Old problems were never fixed.

2 - Requested features were never implmented.

Back then, SentinelV, Headcrab Union, and Greg Kasavin were the main force behind the change. Union was suffering from rpoblems and lack of features then, therefore a change was proposed. Years, literally years later, nothing has be done. Absolutely nothing has been done. I think the reason we don;t get many prominent leaders here is because they have all given up hope.

So, before you become the next leader, you might want to think about which direction this union is heading. This union is like the king of vampires of Santa Monica, and there are only four vampires in Santa Monica...

Oh right guys, I got a new job that pays well but it's gonna be very busy. This means I will have very little time running unions. One union is more than enough so instead of holding this position without enough dedication, I am giving away the title of leadership.

Who do you want as the next leader of union leader council? We have a lot of work ahead so please think about the responsibilities before you say "me me me!" We need to recruit prominent union leaders, establish communications with Gamespot, and I have planned interviews with certain big union leaders.

I used to do somthing like this for my union, too. It's a good idea that brings even inactive members to participate.

I have contacted several leaders of large and successful unions at Gamespot andsome of them have agreed to do an interview. This is a perfect opportunity for us to ask them any question we might have regarding leading a good union.

What questions do you wish to be included? Please put in your thoughts here. The first interview will be with Fantasy_Gamer, the leader of Final Fantasy Experience Union. It is one of the biggest union at Gamespot, also officially endorsed, with over 320000 views and almost 4000 members.

QUESTIONS:

1. What do you do to make the members come back over and over again?

2. What was your inspiration/reason for becoming leader of the union?

3. How do you feel that GameSpot have supported the unions in the long run?

4. What makes you want to be a union leader here at gamespot versus somewhere else?

5. Have you ever concidered to move your union off-site?

6. What unique features does your union offer compared to unions of the same type, and how do you take advantage of those features to make your union successful?

7. In times of hardship, who was it that realy pull your union on to get it active again? Recruits or officers?

8. Have you ever had any problems with the broadness of your union's focus?

9. Have you ever wanted to just give up?

10. What was the hardest choice you have had to make about your union?

Notice how very few emblems are being handed out as well. I think Gamespot is really short-staffed right.plus their reputation has suffered since Jeff's firing. If anything needs tobe done, it is the core content of the site. I think it is understandable why other things such as emeblem events and unions are being put aside. Perhaps Gamespot is trying not to be distracted.

Well, Zeldafan, I agree that trying to lead "as many union as possible" isn;t my cup of tea, either, but if you care so much about that union, why did you leave and never groom it and allow someone else taking over? If you want your union to be in certain way, you need to maintain your control over it. Isn't it a little strange to let a union go idel, gives away the leadership, but still want to have a say on how that union should be?
