i am not sure which one i prefer! i have played both of them and atm i am currently on guitar hero world tour. the annoying thing about it is you cannot get the guitar hero drums seperate from the guitar and that like you can with rockband.

[QUOTE="yodadamasta"]i was on about buying farcry 2 earlier on this week but i didn't due to people saying how rubbish it is! would you recommend to me to get this game!?!cametallIt really depends on you. If your idea of the greatest shooters include CoD 4 and the Halo series, then avoid it at all costs. If your idea of the greatest shooters include STALKER, then buy it. FC2 is action packed, lots of explosives, the ability for fire to spread. But people don't like it's repetition, and trust me, it can get really repetitive. It is not a linear game at all and is very free-roaming. You have to travel to all your destinations by car or boat. There are bus terminals to instantly take you to certain parts of the map, but from there you have to hoof it to your destination. Granted, it only really takes 3 minutes to get anywhere on the massive map. One thing people hated a lot were the respawning patrols and guard posts. After you take em out they'll reappear when you get a certain distance away. It does get tiring but after the 10th time you should be pretty efficient at dealing with them. A lot of the guard posts and patrols can be avoided too. You just have to drive off-road, which can be fun. Really though, if you thought CoD4 or the Halo series are the pinnacle of the FPS genre, then STAY AWAY from FC2. If you're very open minded and don't mind traveling and creating your own action, then go ahead and buy it. I like the game a lot.thanks for your reply! i love call of duty and halo a fair bit! thanks!!!
