I reckon Niantic fugged this up really bad. Base game was great. But all their patches have only made it worse. When the game came out I could actually hunt pokemon. Now I just randomly walk into them, or camp lures. :(

@reavern: Yes, feels to me like my VRAM is getting maxed out, because for me it's after 7 hrs (8GB VRAM). Just exit and reload the game and back to smooth V-sync'd 60fps.

Every single PC game launched in the last 10 yrs has their forum turn to absolute garbage the moment the game is simultaneously released worldwide because most people are happily playing their game having fun. I just finished a 5 hr session, it ran flawlessly at 1440P all settings max, i7 4770k, 1080GTX. Checked out 5 different planets, got my hyperdrive, loving life. Sure this doesn't excuse the devs when the game is completely rubbish (Arkham Knight) but honestly there's an article like this written about almost every single "hyped" release on every gaming website. Surely journalists would learn by now to be a little less "LOSE THEIR SHIT THE SKY IS FALLING!" attitude when the forums as always turn to endless "game doesn't work, refunded!" threads. Am I gonna go post a steam review? No, because I have hardly touched the surface of the game. So basically 95% of reviews being posted are gonna be butthurt people with problems or fanboys that haven't even played the game.
