@frozenuxx @Lu_Shen @barto300 Yeah my only pre-orders were Half-Life 2, S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Shadow of Chernobyl, Dragon Age: Origins, The Witcher 2 and Mass Effect. My worst Day Zero purchase that I still ended up loving the journey of was Diablo 3 mainly due to error 37.

@dookie_213 @Cpt_Cosmonaut It's multiplicative so that's not actually mathematically correct, but hangman wise it is. :)

@roganth @tinmann840 We stopped buying COD the moment they stopped supporting dedicated servers in MP. So... um... MW2 was the downfall of COD. (COD:MW was AMAZING. Everything after has suffered miserably as a terrible port that I refuse to support with my wallet). #PROUDTONEVERBUYCODAFTERMODERNWARFARE1

@Cpt_Cosmonaut @chippiez @pistonsfan2004 @Liquid_ It's not the same people though so it's not like it's the same talent working on these latest iterations that were there for the one's that everyone can all agree were good (COD 2, COD:MW)

@Uangry Survival horror is a subgenre of video games inspired by horror fiction that focuses on survival of the character and trying to scare the player(s). Although combat can be a part of the gameplay, the player is made to feel less powerful than in typical action games, because of limited ammunition, health, speed, or other limitations. The player is also challenged to find items that unlock the path to new areas, and solve puzzles at certain locations. Games make use of strong horror themes, and the player is often challenged to navigate dark maze-like environments, and react to unexpected attacks from enemies. I have not played this game myself, as was busy with Shadow of Mordor (which beyond the initial combat mechanics being "neat" was extremely lame and a huge let down! [stupid story, no drive towards conclusion, ridiculously overpowered by half way through the game, pretty short for an open world game, shorter than The Evil Within as far as I can tell (took me 15 hrs to beat it plus all significant side quests [the weapon quests, and wiping the board] etc.), and am now installing Alien Isolation on steam atm, but I've watched some twitch streams of it, and to be honest, it looks absolutely fantastic. I don't really understand where reviewers get off nitpicking one game and removing whole points willy nilly for things that other games do as well but are overlooked for. The game mechanics are solid. The atmosphere and sound are spot on. The creepiness factor is there. The graphics are decent. If there are not game breaking bugs and stability issues and the game generally drives you towards a worthwhile conclusion then I'd say that's an 8+ hop on board on the fun train. Anyway once I'm done with A:I i'll pick this one up.and probably love it. Yes this game will definitely not be for everyone, but it's clearly not trying to be either.

COD:AW looks like a copy of Crysis more than Titanfall...
