Nintendo definitely needs to review their strategy IMO. The"'interactive bubble" was good for them while it lasted but gimmicky controls and game play options are now getting stale. Feels like Nintendo has forgotten what gaming is really about...the games of course.
It just looks like a poor imitation of the current controller.
Like most of the other stuff that gets leaked about future consoles, I doubt it's the real deal. I'd have no problem with keeping the old controller for another gen anyway.
I just don't understand why Nintendo would release a 'next-gen' system that barely rivals it's competitors current-gen systems in terms of specs.....the gimmick of re-designing controls and introducing 'new ways to play' is already getting old.
Also, what happens when Sony and Microsoft release their next consoles and the Wii U is proven to be an inferior system for it's generation? I can't help feeling that Nintendo has jumped the gun with releasing the Wii U and although they may see short term sales success, this is a major step back for the company in the long term.
