I agree with Pichoro,

This game is about being unique and different than every other game. It was games like this that made me choose the Wii over the PS3 and the Xbox. It just fit with my game tastes a little more. Nothing beats coming home from a day of work, sitting down and exploring the ocean depths. Can't wait, thanks for the update.

Haha,

I absolutely play with a strap on. It's too dangerous with out one. Someone could get hit in the head, have their eye poked out or worse. It might go through the tv. We don't want that to happen.

The DS title is amazing. But I'm waiting to try the Wii title with the family. As it stands now I have to compete for DS time with the kids. I surprised to hear that they are that much different? I'm assuming the story-line is similar, but like you said the powerups adn specials along the way are slightly modified to fit the format?

Perhaps they should make a game called Zelda: Explore. Where all you do is walk around and find things. I appreciate both aspects of the game, but tire quickly of hunting around for where I'm supposed to be. I think the train system is going to fit well with how I want to play.

Tell them that like violent video games, the dramatic representation of teenage violence through a fantasy epic based on vampire culture can lead to severe ID dysplasia and acute, chronic Super Ego transference. And add that It would be best if you stayed home and wrote in your Hello Kitty journal.

I like all the suggestions, but what I'd really like to see is a built in browser or a better cartridge browser and better wifi capability. That would add a much greater depth to DS. I know, its supposed to be a game system not a browser, but would it be that hard. What would be lost? We have phones that have the same capabilities--and we still call them phones for some reason. The graphics on the DS don't worry me as much--that is to say I don't crave them. When I use Nintendo products, I'm typically looking for game-play experience. Unique and challenging games with fun controlls. I know better than to ask for better graphics. :)

Funny, Super Mario Galaxy was nightmare for me as well. Typically I get about 8 hours of battery life. But, I'm using rechargeable batteries and not a 3rd party rechargeable controller with base. What are you using that gives you only 3 hours?

The DS version gives you the ability to destroy skyscrapers or summon monsters depending on the riffs you play--or how well you play them. This sounds way better than jamming out on a Beatles tune. I'm all for this. Just as much as I wish DS would put out series strategy and FPS games with good content, I also want them to produce some games that are actual distractions worth my time. Lego Rock Band seems to be one of those games. Better than most of the crap that devs seem to flood the market with.

Monkey Island is one of my favorites. What about Leisure Suit Larry--if its age appropriate of course. For a different kind of humor you can download some old 8 bit games in another language. That makes me laugh alot.

I still have--and love--my old DS. But I'm chomping at the bit for a DSi this X-mas. I hoping to scoop up package deal. I agree with Detroit. The DS seems a little meatier than its cousins. Durability is key when your on the go.
