resident evil 5 remade by visceral games....imagine..the deadspace teram behind that one!..it would actually be a survival horror game!

that...would be pretty epicYeah, Bungie should take over the reins of Duke Nukem Forever and remake that game to be 10x stronger than the original POS. What a horrible game!

wow...that sounds epic!Great topic. I'm playing Damnation, with a big 36/100 Metacritic average. It's actually a great concept, you enter an area and have to figure out how to climb through a bunch of half destroyed buildings to get to the top of one in order to enter the next area, all the while having gunfights with the bad guys. What's bad about it is that the graphics are early PS2 level, the shooting mechanics are clumsy, the AI is barely programmed, and the story, characters and cutscenes are basically a joke. But if you had somebody like Ninja Theory, who did Enslaved: Odyssey to the West do this game, it could have been really awesome. Even with all its problems I'm still having quite a bit of fun with it, I mean you're literally climbing and fighting your way up to the top of half-demolished 100 story buildings. With current gen graphics, polished mechanics, good AI, and a story and characters as good as Enslaved had, this could have been an unforgettable experience.

i gotta say..i agree with this !Valve would be given Duke Nukem Forever - Valve would know just what old school elements to keep, while bringing the game into modern times. The have the writters that it could be injected with humor, but it would be smart humor, not the stupid juvinille humor the game ended up having. Not to mention, Valve would have made the game shine in terms of gameplay presentation.
Ready at Dawn would be given Metroid: Other M. What at first seemed like a good idea, turned out to be a big mistake giving the Metroid over to Team Ninja. Ready at Dawn knows how to make intense action games, most of all, they know how to deliver cool stories and characters with it....I think if Ready at Dawn had handled Other M over Team Ninja, they wouldn't have ruined Samus' personality portrayal like Team Ninja did.
Irrational Games would have been given Deus Ex: Invisible War. Before BioShock, Irrational Games cut their teeth on System Shock 2, so you know they can make a classic FPS / RPG hybrid. The gameplay design choices would have also been much better then what the game ended up with. It would also be developed primarily for PC.
Team Silent would have never been disbanded, and the Silent Hill franchise would have stayed with them. Actually, what would have happened if they had been given creative control, is the Silent Hill series would have concluded properly as a trilogy with Silent Hill 3......and Team Silent would have moved onto making their new ip a really scary ghost story original game they originally intended....instead of having it butchered and shoehorned into the series and made into SH4, with later installments in the series farmed out to other developers and the quality of the series going into the toilet.
Speaking of Silent Hill....Bluepoint Games would have been in charge of the Silent Hill HD collection....and we would have had an awesome HD collection for the at series, like all of Bluepoint Games HD collections have been.....instead of the crap HD collection we ended up getting.
CD Project Red would have been given Alpha Protocol, or at least worked with Obsidian and handled the actual game code. Obsidian has some good writers, but they can't deliver a polished game for their life.

ok i do NOT army of two a failed game AT ALL..i LOVE it...but i would love to see Guerilla games take the reigns to remake the first one..imagine what they can do with a third person, the added weight, amazing locations and the graphics....it would have that killzone action feel but with the army of two story and characters...hell i just wanna see Guerilla games do a Third Person Shooter!!! ..ooo bette ridea...why noit REMAKE Killzone:Liberation for ps3 and turn it into a tactical third person shooter? i just creamed in my pants....
I just picked up Haze for $1 and it's not that terrible, all considered. It gets much better after you switch factions.Black_Knight_00
oh yea it wasnt terrible i played it for a while..but i just know that if it was created by crytek...it could be an 8.0 rated game lol
which game and developer, why and what would you change?
id pick "Haze" For the ps3 because as bad as it was it couldve been made into something amazing, i think if Crytek got their hands on it they could have obviously improved the graphics to ridiculous levels, create more intense firefights and also develop the story a bit more...
just imaging how they couldve enhanced the suit, the guns and the enemies, especially the bland locales of haze woud be reworked...just a random idea i thought would be cool, what "failed" games would you like to see another developer recreate?
i personally feel that fighting games are not meant for online..too many unseen variables...good old fashion couch to couch is the best way to go...but it does sound liek you should just practice a bit more and make sure you have a solid connection to battle any input lag..go to player matches they are actually fun
[QUOTE="mffmiguel"][QUOTE="T-Machine99"]Compared to other shooters, sci-fi or not, the story is one the best. I really got into the mix of politics and drama. Dont know of BFBC, but COD story was weak. Sev and rico are underrated characters that dont get enough attention, they are a memorable duo. I wish I could appreciate Rico in KZ2... but he just won't stop swearing! seriously ..the swearing? have you ever played a gta game? honestly the swearing was not that bad, im always confused why people were so turned off by it, as if foul language is a new phenomenon in today's mediaThe only thing i disliked about Killzone 3 was the story. If it had a great story, the game would be a easy 10/10 for me.
