My cd-rom drive won't read the disks. When I insert a cd into my laptop the cd-rom drive makes two weird sounds and nothing happens. Does anyone know how to fix it?
It might be overheating, check if the fan is working. I had the same problem with my laptop, I found out that the fan wasn't working so I opened it up and found out that it wasn't plugged into the motherboard.
