October 10 2007 was a great day for me. Sure it was a week before my birthday but this was the day Timesplitters 4 was announced. The game i was awaiting for years was finally announced. The series that got me into FPS's was once again returning.
If anyone is wondering what timesplitters is it's the greatest FPS series ever and why is that?
IT'S FUN.It's Funny. It has something for everyone and on top of that its a pretty darn good shooter(teh bestest).

From a vast variety of characters.. over 150 alone in future perfect( the third installment) out of which i unlocked 149 :(
And these 150 characters consisted of monkeys, ninja monkeys, zombies, gingerbread men, Robots, Stone Golems and many many more! OF course there were human characters as well.
The great thing about the game was the multiplayer as bots were available when ever you wanted or you could play online with others but online gaming has improved alot and multiplayer will be an absolute blast.
Timesplitters also featured custom map makers.
Levels from different time periods.
Crazy weapons like the Injector(you expand until you blow up) an electro-tool and even an Harpoon gun were just one of many. There was also one called teh monkey gun.

R-110 present in all the Timesplitters games till now is just one of the play able characters
R-110 says" Eat my laser.... EAT IT!!"
So with E3 around the corner i am hoping to see any news, gameplay or release date(i wish) of Timesplitters 4

The only news we have was verification of the game and a small teaser trailer which can be viewed at gamespot. Lets hope they have been working like crazy because we haven't heard any thing from them after the Haze launch which i heard did not turn out that great. Not to worry TS 4 will be great because the team it sticking to what they are great at. I can't wait.
So if anyone of you havent picked up a Timesplitters game i suggest you do so and you won't regret it. :)

Well im a huge fan of FPS and have played most of them, but what turned me towards this genre was a game i played at my friends house when the ps2 was newly released.
IT WAS A GAME CALLED "TIMESPLITTERS"
still one of my favourite series of all time i can pick this game up any time of the day, better if i have a buddy with me and play this game. Fast paced, has a sense of humor and is extremly fun.


Free Radical again stuned me with TS2 but no game has left a greater impact then:ely "fun". Its because of this game alone i now love games like COD4, The orange bo

Clocking over 200 hours in this game without online multiplayer this was and is my favourite game of all time. The great amount of content this game carried. Arcade leagues and challenges which offered a host of unlockables ranging from the 150 charecters in the game. Mutliplayer was addicting eventhough i only played with 4 friends at a time.
