Plug the monitor into a different output of the video card. This exact thing happened to me on my last build. I had 2 DVI ports on the video card and it apparently defaults to one of them on first boot regardless of which one the monitor is actually plugged in at.

I own a GTX680-DC2T-2GD5, which has the same basic fan and heat sink set up as that GTX670. It is easily the most solidly built GPU I have ever purchased. the cooling is really good on it. So far the fan speed has not exceeded 20%. Even though you have 2 fans on it, it actually makes less noise then a single fan because they spin so much slower. You can't go wrong with the ASUS.

1. HAF 912 60$

2. EVGA gtx670 Standard non-OC 400$

3. CORSAIR Enthusiast Series TX650 90$

4. G.SKILL Ares Series 8GB 1.5V 47$

5. MSI Z77A-G43 LGA 1155 120$

6. I5 3570k 240$

7. Western Digital Caviar Blue WD5000AAKX 75$

8. COOLER MASTER Hyper 212 EVO 34$

Total=1066$

I would spend more time looking into these parts, but I think this is better than what you have so far. The 932 is a great case, but not for a budget. You don't need a full tower unless you will use SLI. I tried to keep the GTX670 in the equation, which I really wouldn't consider for a budget build. I am not familiar with Rosewill power supplies, but Corsair is generally held in high regard. You have to spend some money on the motherboard, people skimp on this and it is arguably the most inmportant part. I have not used the G43 board, but I have the MSI Z77A-GD65 and it has been good so far. I selected the G. Skill Ares ram because it is low profile, which will ensure clearance with the coolermaster Hyper EVO CPU cooler. I use G.Skill ARES and haven't had issues with it. Prices pulled from Newegg.

To me this sounds like a console that basically plays pc games, but here is the catch. If they define a standard in hardware on the thing, then game developers can optimize there games for that specific hardware like they do the consoles. This would hopefully reduce the amount of glitches and issues that can occur trying to develop for multiple hardware combinations on pc. It feels like a PC, but with a stamp of approval that ease of use and software reliability would be on par with consoles. This way if you are smart enought to run a console, you are smart enough to run the valve box and get allt he benefits the PC games have to offer.

This is old hat. PS3 did this in 2007 and it failed miserably for them. You could stream lair directly to the PSP from your PS3. It failed because the controls sucked. Don't take my word for it. http://www.joystiq.com/2007/09/03/play-lair-on-psp-with-remote-play/

The PSP in itself was sort of a failure, Vita is the spiritual successor to the PSP and that the whole console streaming idea has been one of the main focuses of Vita, so obviously this time around the controls won't be bad.

70 million is far from a failure.

I wasn't posting the earlier stuff about remote play because I thought the PSP was a failure. The game Lair sucked and that was the issue with the controls on it. The controls on Lair were bad on the PS3, and even worse on the PSP.

That is not the feature I am even talking about. I am talking about using the PSVita as a controller for PS3 games and using the screen for new gameplay features. The purpose of the Wii U is not just to play console games on a big fat handheld.

The remote play on the PSP only utilized the PSP for the screen and the contols. So you could use the VITA for the purpose of streaming the game to it like the WII U. I don't see why they couldn't use it for different game functions. They probably won't do it, because all this requires a home wifi network that isn't sold with the PS3. There probably won't be a large enough fan base to make this venture worth doing for Sony or game developers. I'm sure whatever Nintendo is using for the streaming is better than WIFI.

Not sure if this will help you, but I used xpadder for oblivion as well, but a more conventional setup. I had an issue where I would run in slow motion if the run toggle is enabled. I think default is caps lock. Make sure it is not set to run, but toggled to walk.

Thanks for the responses. I think I will skip the dual boot and do the F12 switch. I won't use vista that often anyway.

Does that mean, once I put the other HDD with vista back in an option will pop up letting me choose which one? I was reading up on it and it sounded like it might not work that easy and I may have to reinstall one of the OSs to get it to dual boot properly.
