The reason it can't be done on consoles is because consoles are designed to stream data off the discs and HDDs and that would require a completely different approach to the game design and coding.
LoL, you have your great halo 3, we have our Crysis, keep it that way!! my god, you can be sure it wont come to the consoles, maybe another game on crytek engine 2 but no crysis for you, !noobs! :)
