The TV and DVD player are both chrome/silver colored so I suppose that matches both the white and black console because both models have chrome trim. I also have a silver PS2 and a Wii in that cabinet, so it just seems like the white would match that a little better.

Now that I think about it my original xbox is the only black colored component I have left. :)
