I used to have the first gen nano. They weren't terrible, but my creative zen v plus rocked it in audio quality. Has the audio quality changed any bit since the first gen nanos?
Oh, and is the Sony NWZ-S636FB a good player?

What's a sexier mp3, more worth the money? The generic audio quality but steroid-induced feature list of the iPod touch, or the rich, extremely good sounding audio quality of the Sony Walkman, that apart from music and video, does nothing else.
What's worth more in the long run?
I was wondering, which games support trophies?
I only have Pain and MGS4, but I do know Pain supports them. I have yet to hook my PS3 to the net, that's why I'm asking :P
So I'm finally getting a PS3, wooh!
Should I buy the 80GB MGS4 bundle, or wait for the new 65nm Core model. Does it really make a difference? What would be the smarter buy? I wouldn't mind some USB ports and a chrome trim.
Oh, and how long's the warranty for one of these beasts?
Well, this is what I've settled on.
Upgrading my mobo to an ASUS P5Q Pro, which can support 16GB RAM in the future.
Still can't decide between a 4850 or a 9800GTX+, I'm getting either or.
A new PSU, Corsair GameXStream 600W
2GB OCZ XTC Platinum RAM
and a new case with better airflow.
Good idea?
That will come to about £350 for me.
And that'll give me enough extra money left over to buy myself another Telecaster!
Hmm...
I play all my games at 1240x1028 with maybe 2xAA/AF, and I'm satisfied.
So, a rig with a C2D @ 2.13GHz, 2GB of RAM and a HD4850/9800GTX+ will run games just fine?
[QUOTE="zeeduckieez"][QUOTE="mastershake575"][QUOTE="zeeduckieez"]I know, im not telling him to get a $500-$600 computer. I thought he had the mentality that they only way you can come close or beat the ps3 is spend that $1k which isn't even close to true[QUOTE="mastershake575"][QUOTE="marcthpro"]yeah bu ta 1000$ PC can be far stronger than 600$ PC tough.

Right now, my PC is a C2D e6420, with 1GB of RAM and a 7600GT.
Kept me playing well for 1/2 years.
If thats the case then just throw in another gig of ram, maybe a new powersupply, and a hd4850I'd prefer going all out and getting a new rig. My case's ventilation is just OK, and my mobo can only handle 2GB of RAM max, DDR2-600. The new mobo I'm getting supports 16GB, DDR2-1200, so there is some future proofing.
Its your money but I wouldn't recommend it. A e6420 with a hd4580 and 2gigs of ram is fine for now and you can use that money for future upgrades, espically since new card come out often and where about to see new processor come out.I'll need a new PSU and mobo as well.
I'd rather get an all out upgrade, or a PS3. I just want some gaming, really.
And what do you mean, new processors?
I thought they still haven't taken advantage of all 4 cores.
[QUOTE="zeeduckieez"]What is more worthy of my time and money.
A new PC, with a Q6600, 600W PSU, 9800GTX+ or HD 4850, 2GB of DDR2-1200 RAM and a bunch of other stuff (the mobo is Crossfire compatible).
Or just buy a PS3 80GB bundle with MGS4.
I HAVE NO ATTENTION OF STARTING A FLAME WAR.
It's just a question, I've been on the fence for a week now.
I want to make my decision today and buy something!

Here is the thing about investing in the PC route.
A PC is not just a gaming machine, a good PC can nearly run everything in your home if you were so inclinded. My current PC has the following functionalities
1. web browsing
2. second TV with Streaming media from NetFlix (free) and DVD player
3. Can use for work when project allows
4. Gaming
5. modding games (I dont do that much anymore but I could!)
I honestly don't really want to do anything on it but music production and gaming.
