This can happen on occasion, it may be an issue on steams' end, it may be an issue with your software/hardware.
I'd contact Steam support if it continues to happen. Good luck Kris!

I feel like this question dosn't even exist in any important level.
Don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to be condescending but, The Witcher, whilst I feel it was an awesome game, it wasn't amultiplatform game with huge amounts of advertising.
I even know some gamers that have either not heard of the original Witcher, or only heard about it in avery minimalpassing instant. I bought it forthese people on the steam sales at christmas to improve the matter btw.
Anyway, I really hope The Witcher 2 will be very successful but they took itout of the mulit-platform arena so it will only be able to succeed only so far.
Especially since GOG.com is offering the game with no DRM at all. Which whilst they mean well, is kind of insane. Ah well, let's hope their good intentions work out doing what they intended.
I put the spaces between words but it won't change
I want to make this abundantly clear. This is simply my veiw on the deno that has been released, not the full version.
The demo offers a campaign/movie called the parish which onlygives youtwo saferooms worth of segments.Likely meaning there's one more segment at least to get through since we didn't get tohave the usual finale on the last bit of this campaign.
The similarities mostly end at the apearance of the game, the differences toLeft 4 Dead 2are subtle, but too numerousin scale to keep track of.
And two examples, were the new aggressiveness of the special infected.one of my partnersgot caught by a smoker. We killed it, then withinhalf aminute, we got a new smoker trying to grab us. (Normal difficulty.)
The witch has the newfound ability to move BEFORE being alerted, making certain moments very tense, but also showing the massively improved AI.
Due to this improved enemyAI Ifound myself in a situation involving my back to somespitter acid on the floor, a witch wandering aroundin front ofme and a smoker purposefullymoving himself, just like in versus mode(very smart), right behind the witch, and then the smokerproceeded to grab one of us and set off the witch.
The general feel of thisgame does bring it home to it's atmospheric original, L4D, but also departs from many of it's downfalls. You will no longer be able tokill an entire hoard by crouchingin a corner and contiuallymeleeing leaving me feeling helpless, a very good thing. And the faster pace of gameplaymixed with smarter game components and GREATLY improved graphics means that this game is truly worth your time. The fun I had using the new magnum pistol, and listening to the punch it packs is so satisfying that I look forward to desintegrating a few infected's faceswith itwhen it is realised worldwide on NOV 17.
Kevin VanOrd is cool. He always shows how he feel's when he's speaking. Which is awesome when he reallylikes a game.
The only ones I truly liked though were the legends Ryan Davis, Jeff Gerstmann, Brad Shoemaker and Alex Navarro.
I mean I know that Navarro is at Harmonix lately but I haven't heard much about the other three.
Where the hell are they these days? It makes me sad that this site dosn't have better reviewers. I only come for the news these days, Oh! and for the user reviews.
Whereas, before I'd actually pay the sites reviewer's some attention.
How does this site deserve an award for doinganything web-related? Please, if you know, then go ahead andtell me.
Also, how long ago was it since they last gave any paying subscriber's anything that they're paying for."ON THE SPOT"anyone, where is this. Also where is Gamespot's explanation for the video podcast's apparent indefinite cancellation for the last few months, I haven't seen it have you.
No site redesigns in the last FOUR years, how do you guys feel about the attention CNET are paying you? Yes! I'm talking toYOU, the site members!
Big props to the guys that stayed on at gamespot when gerstmann-gate happened, but that event was only the public start of gamespot's downfall. No one knows when it started un-officially.
My last remark. If you did vote for gamespot, tell me why? what made you vote for them? and give the public the other side of this debate that I have started.
P.S. I'm now talking to you, the moderators. Giantbomb has my full support which leads me and a tonne of friends (Giantbomb fans and ALOT of xbox live gamer's) to vote forother sitesinstead of you.
If you delete this, you'll be deleting this site member'sright to be honest and enjoy game's (the very reason this site originally got started in the first place.).
The people who've read this and then later see it has been moderated, i.e. deleted. will know what a fraudulent little site gamespot has become. And to be honest if you decide to reprimand me, you'll be doing me a favour.(In a comical over the top way: "I bid you adue!" storming out of the nearest door.)
[QUOTE="zeniftan"]I don't get why you guys found this puzzle so hard, I managed to do it in like 10 minutes. (And no I'm not bragging, I just think it's strange just how different peoples minds work.)
I hope you guys manage to solve it, as not solving it is virtually like crippling the main quest. And in my opinion the main quest is a lot of fun to do.

Yeah! that's what is known as GUESSING. I haven't played the game in like 5 months so cut me a break! Geez! lol.
Hey Gamespot! And anyone else who's reading this, how's it going guys?.
Something that I sometimes find highly frustrating is when I go into the New Releases section of your site, I look at the games that are being released and then need to press "BROWSE ALL NEW THIS WEEK" to see all of the new releases that are on offer.
Now, here comes the highly frustrating part.
Once I've seen+read all of the new releases for the week, I may want to quickly go to the week before or after's record of new releases. Now, the only way to do this at the moment is to go back a page, click the "NEXT WEEK" button on your page, then click "BROWSE ALL NEW THIS WEEK".....AGAIN! to load up the full list of new releases for the new week in question. My site enhancement suggestion to you guys is to simply add the "NEXT WEEK" option to the page with the full list of new releases so that we can just keep going back or forward a week very quickly whilst still displaying the full new releases line-up list.
although my computer is very fast it's still frustrating to have to repeatedly have to do this over and over. So then imagine how frustrating it is for someone who has a slow computer (they'd be waiting ages.)
I know it seem's like I'm making a mountain out of a mole hill but you can see what I'm getting at either way.
Thanks for reading this anyway. :D
P.S: Sorry if this message is a repeated subject that you've read a few times before.
