@GSGuy321 @zenstrata@jmattsen Exclusivity is precisely the problem with consoles, they force gamers to use only their exclusive gamepad and remove the ability for the gamer to choose what control they want to use.
Because the PC offers the players the most amount of choice, it is the most Inclusive of all game machines.
@GSGuy321 @jmattsen@zenstrata I found the game too simple to be much fun. All you had to do to win was manufacture the most units possible and throw them at the enemy in one big glob. That is not strategy. That is lemmings.
@jmattsen @zenstrata Halo Wars was so simplistic and easy that it was practically a snooze-fest. There was barely any 'strategy' in that game to speak of because it was so amazingly dumbed down to be workable with a gamepad.
If this was on PC I would be more interested. As it is, I do not have the next gen consoles, will not be able to purchase one for a long time (probably a couple years) so I will likely end up skipping this game entirely. Unless they release a pc version...
I do not have a facebook account because I do not like the way the company handles peoples personal information, nor do I like what facebook has done to our society.
What this means for this piece of hardware though? I will have to wait and see. But I do admit that I will be watching what they do with this much more carefully from here on out. If they turn out a quality piece of hardware without attaching things I do not like, then I will not mind. I don't blame mojang for pulling out however. Facebook creeps me out too.
They should consider the minecraft model with this. Release it so people can set up their own servers on their own pc's and invite friends to join their game and play with them. Make the software one set price without adding extra prices for dlc, allow modding etc. Then release occasional content patches to add more things.
