Same for me, I used to be able to play the game just fine but the patch that was released along with the special forces expansion ( i never got the expansion just the patch) made the game unplayable (laggy).
If anything console games make PC games better because when a console game gets ported to the PC it sells like ****. So devs have to develop better games if they want to be successful on the PC.
