So i bought spore today

love it

i got it b4 the launch tried it out loved it and then bought it and im on the tribal stage for teh second time

alot of fun deff buy

and got mercs 2 and im playing mass effect and crysis on high

so great

school started but idc its fun being in HS

i got a copy of xp from my friend who got a new comp with vist so im running this computer now with

1,124 mb of ram which im going to up soon

ati radeon HD 3450 512mb video card

i can run crysis smooth as butter on all medium some high.

NEW PROBLEM THO

after installing windows i found i have no sound

thre are no traces of my sound card or any sound drivers

i've updated my MOBO bios and everything and still nothin

it was a onbaord sound card so no software

i don't know what it was called but my mobo model is as follows

ASUS A8M2N-LA

can someone help me get my sound back or find out what my onboard sound card is so i can update the driver

Ok my mum bought a new pc last year with windows xp ME and it did not come with the discs to install windows after your formatted the drive. The computer recently crashed and burned and geek squad screwed up during the "fixing" and i'm sure they deleted the partition the setup files were in. i formatted the drive with a nukeing program and installed fedora 8 on the pc. Is there a way i can find the partition if it was not damaged thru fedora? (fedora=linux) and if not is there a way i can copy the windows from mypc to that one since that one is my new pc and is vastly better. OR is there a legal way or *cough* another way i can get windows on that pc and not get destroyed by microsft since i want to play windows games on it.?

the new look is ok hard to adjust to but i can deal with it.

On to why i am angry

My computer has been full of lil viruses thesepast 5 years i've had it and upgraded it so it acting up once in awhile is nothing ew to me.

but now my net disconnects in the middle of pc games and PS3 games

my desktop deltes icons randomly

my harddrive went from FAT to HTMF or whatever

and other things that have just been piss ing me off

oh well

if i get BF i would have to wait an extra week to pay off Mecrs 2 which does not matter

i want all of these really really bad but im gonna have alot of freakin trouble getting all of them. The ones with the ! means im confirmed getting them thru money i already have or thru birthday money/gifts.the others with ? means im gonna hve to try my hardest to get by selling stuff and doing odd jobs. ones without i want but i doubt i can get.

Thats only up to december. many more i want or coming out in 09.

this summer has really made me more of a gamer.
