I may have over a thousand of them but you can never have too many.

The game of choice at the moment is Unepic.

I buy both but some games you just can't find on the shelf.

I think it's inevitable that it will go to digital downloads only.

For Sci-Fi FPS check out the Mass Effect series, the Halo series, the Crysis series, the Bioshock series, the borderlands series, Metro 2033 etc.

For Strategy games check out World in Conflict, Starcraft Series, Rise of Nations, Rome: Total War, Sins of A Solar Empire, theCivilisation series, Supreme Commander, C&C Tiberian Sun and Red Alert II etc etc.

The original Witcher was awesome so yes play it.

Before I got my current PC I would look to upgrade every three years but that didn't stop me tweaking the PC every couple of months.

My current PC is now in it's fourth year so I guess it's time to start looking although it still plays everything I throw at it.

Nox is a good title. A conjurer with a Stone Golem is just awesomeness.

I can't decided on just one.

Maybe Sniper: Path of Vengeance, Mortyr or Soldier of Fortune: Payback.

On the PC the first FPS I played was the mighty Doom. After that Wolfenstein 3D, Doom 2, Rise of the Triad, Duke Nukem 3D, Blake Stone 3D, Dark Forces etc etc.

Great times for the FPS they were.

Doom, Quake, Halo 1, Half Life, Call of Duty 1, Unreal, Duke Nukem 3D.

Any of the above should get you going.
