Ok, so Sony just unveiled its newest portable gaming system the "Sony NGP". From what I've seen it looks pretty cool, and I really think it could possibly be a real strong contender against Nintendo's 3DS. First off, the NGP has so much more to offer than the original PSP. It has a touch screen, a touch pad on the back of it, and a gyro feature. The screen is also much bigger and the graphics look really awesome. Now, the 3DS in my opinion is quite similar in design with the DSi. The only added addition is the 3D feature. Though Sony's PSP fared poorly against the DS, I think this new portable console might have a chance. They both have a killer line up of games going for them as well. So in conclusion I kind of want both, so it looks like my wallets really going to be hurting this year. Thanks and have a great day!

Favorite Games of the Year!!

Bear in mind this is my list, these are my opinions and I'll respect yours if you respect mine. Also I don't own a Wii or a PS3.
XBOX 360: Dead Rising 2
A really fun game which has an excellent amount of replayability.
PSP: A tie between Metal Gear Solid Peace Walker and Valkyria Chronicles 2
I couldn't pick just one because both of them are so great in their own aspects. While I was really excited to play Peace Walker, VC2 really took me by suprise and I'm really loving it.
DS: Pokemon Heartgold
Practically the only DS game I purchased in 2010, and I got to say, it's good, but the series is getting incredibly stale and I kinda got bored with this one after beating it. Though, it is a remake of my favorite game of all time, so no complaints.
Honorable mentions to some other awesome games I played:
Super Meat Boy (360)
Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm 2 (360)
Call of Duty Black Ops (360)
Pac Man Championship Edition DX (360)
Sonic 4 Ep 1 (360)
God of War Ghost of Sparta (360)
Honestly, I didn't really play that many games this year. I try to play the games that are less known rather than playing all of the super popular ones, with the exception of Black Ops. So yeah, 2010, great year for gaming though I wish I could've played more. See yah later!

An Update on Things in HG

So yeah, in Heartgold I beat the Elite 4 and I'm in Kanto and I beat Lt Surge. I captured Entei and Raikou and Ho Oh, and is about to face Misty. So far the game has been great. The remixed music is well done and it seems they stayed very faithful to the original game. I might review it later, but I'm not sure because I am really lazy and hate doing reviews because I have to much to talk about a game and it takes forever to type out. All right, see yall later
Heartgold and Soulsilver

I am so psyched for these games. I've been waiting for the remake of my favorite game Gold ever since FireRed and LeafGreen and now my wish came true. It comes out in a week and it comes with the PokeWalker accesory which is gonna be so freakin cool. I already have my team set out. Tododile as my starter, Teddiursa, Sandshrew, Natu, Magby and Elekid. All Johto except for Sandshrew but thats cuz he is awesome. I just can't wait this game is going to be awesome. There are so many cool things about it and I think its going to be the best Pokemon game yet. Let me know what you think in the comments like if your going to get it or not. I've already reserved HG so I get the Ho Oh figure. All right. I'll see y'all later.

Allright, I know its a little late but here are my favorite movies of 2009.
5. Avatar: Even though I ranted on it it still was a good movie with great SE's and acting.
4. Up: One of Pixar's finest next to Toy Story
3.Inglorious Basterds: A little less action than I could have hoped for but still a great comedy/action/drama. Fantastic acting as well.
2. Zombieland: Good ol' zombie killing with a lot of comedy andmemorable moments.
1. District 9: Just an amazing movie with special effects that rival Avatar and awesome fight scenes. Peter Jackson at his best.
Rant On the Movie Avatar

OK, before all the fanboys get pissed, I'll tell you, I thought Avatar was a decent movie. The story was kinda bland and had a "right in your face" enviromentalist advertisement, but I'll say the special effects are incredible. The reason I'm ranting on it is because it was hyped up for like10 or more years and James Cameron promises a movie as good if not better than Titanic, and it wasnt. And a lot of people think its the best movie ever but its not even close. Its OK. I do give it kudos for making more money in a month and a half than Titanic made in like a year, which is pretty damn impressive.
Album Review of Death Magnetic by Metallica
by ziki88 on Comments
Hello everyone, now this is going to be another album review and first official blog since my one month hiatus. Today, we take a look at Death Magnetic by Metallica, there most recent album released Dec. of 08, so its only a little over a year old.
Now, the entire theme of this album seems to be death (hence the title) with songs with names such as That Was Just Your Life, Cyanide, and Suicide and Redemption. Now I'll be honest, I haven't listened to any Metallica albums since the Black Album, so I haven't heard Load, Reload, St Anger or any of the other crap they released in the 90's and early 00's. The album starts out promising with fast guitar riffs, great solos, and pretty damn good drums, and after three songs, right in the middle, they strike you with The Day That Never Comes, All Nightmare Long, Cyanide, and The Unforgiven III, by far the best songs on the album. I do wish they had spread all these songs out in the album, rather than just have rising action towards the 4 songs, than after that the falling action with the final three songs. It makes the ending songs less important. Also, Suicide and Redemption is the first instrumental since To Live Is To Die found on ...And Justice For All. The album tries to go back to Metallica's roots, and for the most part, it does a pretty damn good job of it. Except for the fact that Hetfield's voice sounds miles different and has been that way since the Black Album. His voice sounds less raw, and more kinda western, its hard to explain, and I'm not saying its bad, just not up to par with the original, energy injecting sound of how his voice used to sound like. Their new bassist, Robert Trujilo, is good but no where near as good as Cliff Burton, or even Jason Newsted. Well all in all, Metallica fans probrably won't like it as much as Master of Puppets or Ride the Lightning, but its decent. Newcomers to the band will probrably love it, and to everyone else, its still a good album. Unfortunately, there really are no headbanging moments in this album, and I think thats where it suffers the most.
Overall Rating: 3.5 out of 5 stars
