The Red Cross or any non profit organization but thats not the point. I agree with you that companies are in business to make money. But do you realize how much they are making not only in hardware but also software. How many million sellers do they have? Between Wii and DS thats alot of cash. Their VC sales are probably enough to finance their online structure already. It seems to me just another way to bleed the consumer. But theres always a chance it will be something worthwhile. If they make improvements to the system like some mentioned it might be worth the extra bucks.
If you're going to judge getting a Wii game based on Gamespot reviews then don't get it. The reviewers here are xbox360 fan boys. If it dosen't have great graphics and dosen't have online it sucks to them no matter how well it plays.
It;'s not half as useless as the weather channel. what use is it to know what the weather was 5 hours ago? Any half fast web site will tell you at least within the hour what the temp is.
