The Collection Is Now Complete!

Yes, after starting this collection back in 1999, I recently completed the original Metal Gear Solid action figure series by getting the last figure, Raven. I was able to collect the other seven figures back during that year, but failed to find Raven. I believe Raven was the harder one to find because of the sheer size of the figure. Raven is a big dude, and adding his weapon to the package probably made him the most expensive figure in the series for McFarlane Toys to manufacture. After a few months of searching through local stores, I gave up on trying to collect him. Flashing forward to November of 2007, I had the random thought popped into my mind of finishing the series and I did a quick search on eBay. I found him in mint condition on eBay. Yay eBay!Raven action figure

It defiantly feels nice to have completed this task that took almost a decade to do!

Bleach, the Live Musical

Obviously there's a musical to the anime series Bleach. Below are some images comparing the characters to the cast. If you ask me, they did a pretty good job of finding look-alikes.

Here's a link to a YouTube video of the musical.

Here is a link of where I found the images.

Next stop, Comic-Con!

car

On Wednesday my brother and I are heading out to San Diego for Comic-Con twenty o' savage! This is the first time we've ever been to comic-con. Hope it's as good as it appears on television. Will anyone else be attending the event? I'll be taking many photos and uploading them for you all to see.

catching up with the times

during the weekend i finally got a PS3 (60GB). it's wicked awesome! i'm actually writing this blog entry within the PS3's web browser. l purchased Ninja Gaiden Sigma with it. the remote play feature that allows the PS3 and PSP to talk to each other is pretty cool! alright, enough of this text entry with PS3 controller crap, i need a keyboard! (^_^')

Scissor Proof

In an earlier episode of the HotSpot, a listener wrote in to describe how hard it was to tear open the plastic cases that enclose Xbox 360 equipment (controllers, cables, etc). Well I was setting up my new entertainment center and tried to open one of those plastic cases with a pair of scissors when, CRACK! A piece of the blade broke off. It was bound to happen though, because I was twisting the scissor when I was trying to open the case, but yikes, those cases ARE getting harder and harder to open.

About Time!

I’m going to take this moment to announce that I have finally made my first post!  "About time" some might say.  So why so long you ask?  No reason really.  I just found others to be more interesting.  But now I have decided to open up a little and share my own thoughts and opinions on stuff.  I hope you find what I share interesting and enjoyable like how I see others to be on this site.
