Whats the theory behind keeping the system vertical is better for cooling? The vents are on the ends and back. Wouldnt the vent on against the flat service restrict airflow?

I am debating on whether to buy an Xbox 360. Can anyone here vouch for the Xbox heat/lockup issues being fixed with the newer systems? The last game system I bought was a Gamecube, so I've been wanting to buy a new system for awhile now. Everytime I pass buy a PS3 unit playing at Walmart or Best Buy, the graphics are locked up. That plus the high cost, I want to stay away from the PS3. So that leaves the Wii and Xbox360. The 360 has more games, especially for adults. The Wii has some cool games and controllers, but I found its to much like the Gamecube (not enough adult games). My last question, when is the next Xbox due out?

I guess I'm one of those people.  I purchased a Gamecube on ebay last year, and it included RE, RE4, Zelda Wind Waker, Metroid 1 & 2.  I finally started playing RE4 a couple of weeks ago.  This was the first time in a long time, that I was addicted to playing a game.  I finally completed it the other day, and it was pretty good.  Sure the story was goofy in parts, but it was entertaining.

So, I decided to give RE a try yesterday, and I was very disappointed.  The controls are very awkward (especially coming straight from RE4), and the staring weapon was a knife??  I encounted a zombie eating one of the fellow soldiers, and I couldn't figure out how to kill him.

A couple of questions.  Are the controls like this thru the entire game, and is it a type of thing that you have to get use to?  RE4 seemed more aggressive when fighting enemies, and my first encounter with a zombie in RE was pretty weak, how does the rest of the game play out?

I'm eager to start playing my next Gamecube game, but I'm not sure what to spend the time on.  I tried Eternal Darkness, but the graphics looks N64ish which turned me off.

So with tversity, you only need WinXP, not Windows Media Center?

monkey2go

It took me 19 hours, 14 minutes. You can see your time after completing the game.

Eternal Darkness is alot better imo. Its the reason I bought a gamecube....Sigleaf

Eternal Darkness sounds cool, but the graphics are weak compared to RE4.

Just completed Resident Evil 4.  I want more!  Any other games as good?   Graphics/Sound and story wise.  I also like the fact RE4 had audio dialog, not just subtitles.

gory and violent mixed up? Because RE4 was very violent, that's all it really was, was shooting, shooting, an explosion, some more shooting, puzzle, shooting, puzzle, shooting. lol, so I say RE4 is the most violent game on gamecube. But for gory, I'm not sure. Bass7

Umm, you don't consider cutting or tearing off someones head gory?? Have you even played RE4 ??

The easy answer would be Zelda cause it was a great game, but the game I love playing with friends is DON. I like SB, but I thought DON was just more fun.akuya32
