Just One of Those Days

Everybody has had these kind of days. I say that as if it makes it any less aggrivating. It seems like nothing could go my way all day.

I started my day by waking up after one too many pushes of the snooze button, making me late for my first class. Each class lasted overtime today, meaning not only was I late for my first, but each subsequent class as well.

After I got out of my last class, creative writing, I was relieved. "It's finally over," I assured myself. I was wrong. I hope I don't make a habit of that.

After I eventually made it off-campus, I saw a cop up ahead of me. "Figures." It turns out the cop lives in my neighborhood, so I had to follow behind him the whole way home. Usually, the traffic moves about 10-15 MPH over the speed limit on the road I take home. Today, it was moving at a steady rate of 5-10 MPH under.

To say the least, I'm glad to be home. At least I get to watch last night's Dexter now.

I'm Back

Not that anyone missed me, but I've decided to try the whole TV.com thing again. The fall season has begun and after coming back time and again to search for information, I've decided to hop back on the saddle. I'm more determined this time to contribute and find my place in this community, so remember the name, because you'll be seeing it again.

Three Letters: DVR

Thank God for DVR. Ever since I got a DVR box, which was about a year and a half ago, I've never missed any of my shows. Take today, for example. I just now watched last week's 'Lost'. Without DVR, I'd be... sorry about this... lost... this Wednesday trying to fill myself in with little help from the "previously on 'Lost'" guy. I suppose the point I'm trying to make is that I would be missing out on all of this entertainment had it not been for this great invention. Thank you, DVR. Thank you.

Activate Hyperdrive!

Well, I'm officially hooked to TV.com. I've been a member for a while now, due to my Gamespot membership, but I've never really taken advantage of it. I'm really starting to enjoy it and hope to continue using it for all of my TV needs... which... apparently there are many.
