Can someone recommend any good games? I just can't find anything as good as FEAR, original Stalker, Oblivion, and Crysis. All other games I try just bore me senseless. I mean I try them, hoping for the best, but I just see re-hashed ideas done badly. New Stalker sucked. Alone in the dark 4 sucked. Will Alan Wake ever materialise? And if so probably looking out of date now unfortunatly. Heck even the Thing and Doom 3 have more style that stuff I see recently. I just need a new good game that emerses you totally in a believable world, with an intelligent story hopefully non-linear, fantasy, horror or sci-fi themed, non-patronising and amazing. Do I ask too much? Save me from replaying the above games as I can't find anything else.

Stick with the game, it is a very steep learning curve but it becomes amazing once you get better equiped. I think it looks fine without modding.
