I have a ps3 80 GB . I wanted play fifa 2010 but suddenly lines appeared on the screen and the ps3 stopped responding . I tried to restart it but it did no respond so i turned it off from the main supply. I tried to start fifa again but the same thing happened . I tried another game and it worked. however today the same thing happened with the other game and with a couple of games. what is the problem in my ps3 please help me :?

While I was playing COD 4 online the game suddenly stopped, the game screen disappeared and the playstation stopped responding. Does this frequently happens or is there something abnormal :question:

How do you have your ps3 connected to your TV? Is your ps3 the only connection you have that outputs 1080p?

It wouldn't hurt to rule out and HDMI problem. If that doesn't fix it, then you need to start looking at your tv. Does this problem occur with any of your other connections?

I have LCD tv when it works on 1080 little flashing white spots appear in the start menu their number decreases with time and they disappear when i am playing a game is this normal or do i have a problem in the tv or the HD cable:question: :)
