- Game Informer gave the game a 1.75/10 with reviewer Andrew Reiner saying that "all the truck drivers out there who are transporting copies of Jumper: Griffin's Story to retail, please redirect your shipments to Alamogordo, New Mexico. You'll know you are in the right location when you see thousands of E.T. cartridges moving out of the way to make room for your shipment."
- Metacritic gave the Xbox 360 version of Jumper: Griffin's Story a 29/100 and is the second worst reviewed game on the platform.
(PlayStation 3, Wii, Nintendo DS, Xbox 360)
- 1UP.com's Justin Haywald gave Rock Revolution a D rating, criticizing the drum controller's layout and size and describing the 41 track song list of purely covers as "so-so". The game was also criticized for the lack of additional content in the game beyond basic gameplay and a story mode with "no narrative", and the lack of vocal-based modes as seen in "Rockband ". The game's studio mode was declared the "only real fun" in the game overall.
- IGN's Ryan Geddes gave Rock Revolution a 3.0/10, criticizing the game's usage of cover versions of songs in contrast to Guitar Hero World Tour and Rock Band 2's use of only master tracks, and the quality of presentation and graphics in the game. Among other complaints, a cover of The Ramones' Blitzkrieg Bop was dubbed "awful", the recording studio mode was described as being "as intuitive as a tax form", and calling the game's drumkit peripheral "[an] abomination that must be destroyed lest it breed and multiply"
- RewiredMind.com's Ken Barnes gave the final Nintendo DS version of Rock Revolution a score of 2 out of 5, citing inaccurate controls and the limitations of the Nintendo DS hardware in the vocal sections for the low score.
- The NPD Group reported that Rock Revolution sold fewer than 3,000 copies in October 2008 in the United States, the game's first month of release. These sales breakdown to 1,442 for the Xbox 360, 816 for the PlayStation 3, 666 for the Nintendo DS, and two for the Wii.
