From the streets of Hong Kong, to a serene buddhist temple, this game brings out the best the PS2 has to offer, and sets the bar for all followers (to say the least) Extremely high. Set aside the amazing graphics, keen augmentations and off-the-wall weapons, at it's core, Project:Snowblind is an amazing adventure that must be taken by anyone who owns a PS2. As I've said before, it's scary how fun it is to just go around an "blow sh*t up". And bring all of that stuff back and you have a Game of the year nominee, in February. But what makes Snowblind so great? Take your pick: The intense combat (A revolutionary game, where you don't just fight all of these guys alone. you have AI teammates, that fight and die beside you.) The amazing graphics (easily comparible to Halo...and I mean EASILY.) The great weapons and augmentations. To the Intensely Satisfying Online game. Project: Snowblind definately delivers...no doubt about it. Oh, I've forgotten to mention the best part of the game...the Online. This is truely a necessity as far as the online realm goes. Surpassing even Socom in it;s crispness, complete lack of lag, and overall amazing graphics. Oh, sure it's fun to run arouns and blow the crap out of everything you see wearing a different color than you, in the standard (team) Deathmatch. but where this game really shines are in areas untouched by previous games. Such as Assault, an amazingly fun capture the flag, and varients. But the coup de gra for this game is held in 2 short syllables, Hunter. This mode of Online truely is what it says it is. Just think of it as Halo 2 Juggernaught, only with 15 players clammoring to kill 1 invisible hunter. Salivating yet? This game also has litterally Hundreds of gameplay hours, not in the single player mode, which takes about 15 hours to beat, but the Online multiplayer offers a very healthy, and nearly infinately large portion of Online gameplay. I've already played it for a good 10 hours, and there is no end in sight for this gamer. Truely this is THE best game for the PS2 ever. It is, in every sense of the word, a "Halo Killer" (Although I hate saying that because of the individuality that Snowblind). This game is a definate must for ANYONE who owns a PS2, it delivers a solid 1st person game, and an even better online mode. Anyone who is looking for a simply Amazing game this year, should definately take a good long look at Project: Snowblind.
